I am a multimedia producer, editor, and photojournalist teaching as an assistant professor in the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University, having been here since 2009. Currently I teach classes in audio and video storytelling, picture editing, information architecture, user experience, mobile user experience, Flash and Actionscript 3.0. Previously a multimedia editor and staff photographer at The Free Lance-Star in Fredericksburg, Virginia, I also interned at The Herald in Jasper, Indiana and The Courier-Press in Evansville, Indiana. I received my undergraduate degree in photojournalism from Ohio University, and have a M.S. in New Media from Syracuse University. I am available for assignments in Ohio and beyond.
